What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a dynamic form of Pilates performed on a specialised piece of equipment called a reformer. Using adjustable springs, straps and a moving carriage, the reformer provides both resistance and support to help strengthen, lengthen and stabilise the body. Classes focus on controlled, mindful movement designed to improve posture, flexibility and overall strength, while remaining low impact and suitable for a wide range of fitness levels.
What is Wunda Chair?
The Wunda Chair is a classic piece of Pilates equipment designed to challenge strength, stability and control. Despite its compact size, it offers a wide variety of exercises using spring resistance and a pedal mechanism. Wunda Chair workouts are particularly effective for developing core strength, balance and coordination, while encouraging precise, controlled movement.
Do I need experience to join?
Absolutely not. Whether it’s your first class or you’ve been practising Pilates for years, our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way. Each session is thoughtfully designed to accommodate all ability levels, allowing you to move at your own pace in a safe and supportive environment.
Is Reformer Pilates suitable if I have an injury?
Reformer Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that can be highly beneficial for improving strength, mobility, and rehabilitation. For clients managing an injury or seeking to reconnect with their body post-injury, “The Grace” class is perfectly designed to support recovery. This class focuses on restoring movement, building strength safely, and helping you regain confidence in your body.

Please inform your instructor of any injuries or conditions beforehand to ensure any exercises are carefully adapted so you can move safely, comfortably, and with full support.
Can I attend classes while pregnant?
Many clients continue reformer Pilates during pregnancy as it provides a gentle yet effective way to maintain strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing.

If you haven’t practised Reformer or Wunda Chair before, we advise starting with our specialist pre-natal classes once you are 14 weeks pregnant. If these practices were already consistently part of your routine, you may continue regular classes up to 14 weeks, after which pre-natal classes are recommended to ensure the wellbeing of both you and your baby.

Please let us know in advance if you are pregnant so our instructors can offer appropriate modifications and ensure the class is suitable and safe for you. For more information please visit our specialist classes page for more information on pre-natal and post-natal classes.
Are you classes suitable for men?
Definitely! While Pilates can often be associated with women, both our Reformer and Wunda Chair classes welcome all genders. Our sessions focus on building strength, improving posture, enhancing flexibility, and developing core stability, making them ideal for anyone looking to improve overall fitness. Classes are designed to challenge and support every body type in a safe, empowering, and motivating environment.

What should I wear to a class?
Please wear comfortable, form-fitting activewear that allows full movement and lets your instructor observe your alignment. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene on the Reformer carriages and Wunda chairs. Our own chic grippy socks are available to purchase in the studio, or, you are welcome to bring your own. Hair ties and minimal loose jewelry help ensure a safe and comfortable practice.
What should I bring to class?
Whether you're completing a Reformer or Wunda Chair session, no additional equipment is required for studio classes – all accessories, mats, and props are provided, so you only need to bring yourself. Grippy socks are required for all classes; bare feet are not permitted for safety and hygiene. We also recommend bringing a water bottle to help stay hydrated and an extra towel if you prefer.
Can I join an express class if I’ve never tried full-length classes before?
Yes! Our express classes are perfect for beginners and experienced clients alike. They focus on key exercises in a condensed 30-minute format, making them ideal for a quick lunchtime workout or fitting an extra session into a busy day.
Do you offer private sessions?
Yes! Our private sessions provide one-to-one attention with our expert instructors, allowing for tailored guidance, personalised modifications, and accelerated progress. These sessions are perfect for beginners, injury rehabilitation, or anyone seeking a fully customised experience. We will accommodate sessions around your schedule as long as they don’t clash with timetabled classes.
What is your late arrival policy?
Our doors open 10 minutes before each class to allow time to arrive, settle in, and prepare for your session. For the comfort and safety of all clients, doors close at the scheduled start time, and late entry will not be permitted. This ensures the class runs smoothly and without disruption, so that every guest can fully enjoy their experience.
What is your class cancellation policy?
We understand life can be busy, and we aim to be fair to all clients:

· Cancellations more than 12 hours before your class may be rescheduled or credited toward another session.
· Cancellations within 12 hours of the class will be charged in full. Out of courtesy to other ReFRAME guests we would appreciate if any classes that cannot be attended are cancelled through the booking system/ReFRAME app to allow other guests the opportunity to attend.

This policy applies to all full-length and express classes, whether booked pay-as-you-go, in blocks, or via a ReFRAME membership.

While we make every effort to deliver all scheduled classes as planned, ReFRAME reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class where circumstances beyond our control prevent it from proceeding; including instructor illness, operational requirements, or where minimum attendance levels have not been met.

Should ReFRAME need to cancel a class, any credits, class passes, or session allocations used for that booking will be returned to your account in full for future use, and all booked clients will be notified as soon as reasonably possible using the contact details provided at the time of booking.

Can I mix full-length and express classes with my Membership?
A choice of memberships are available for both full length classes and express classes.

Our Full-length class memberships give access to all full-length sessions but also allow you to attend express classes, perfect for busy schedules or lunchtime workouts.

Our express-only memberships are designed for those who specifically want 30-minute express sessions and do not include access to full-length classes.
What is the expiry on class passes?
The expiry of class passes varies depending on the size of the class block purchased. Single class passes are valid for 4 weeks from the date of purchase, while our 5 and 10 class passes are valid for 12 weeks from the date of purchase.

Please ensure all classes are booked and used before the expiry date. If you are unsure which option is best for you, feel free to contact us at hello@reframewellnessclub.co.uk before making a purchase.
Do any unused membership classes roll over?
Yes! We understand that life doesn’t always follow a perfect schedule. Whether you’re away on holiday, travelling for work, or simply unable to attend as many classes one month, unused membership credits benefit from a short rollover window to give you added flexibility and help you make the most of your membership.

As standard across all memberships, your monthly class allowance also includes an additional two-week booking window following your renewal date, allowing time to use any remaining credits before they expire. Our memberships are designed to support consistency while still fitting around real life - so if you miss a week, you won’t miss out!
What happens if I miss a class on my membership?
If you miss a class that you have booked, it will be treated as a late cancellation, and the session will be deducted from your monthly class allowance. We kindly ask that you cancel at least 12 hours before the scheduled class start time, in line with our cancellation policy.

Out of courtesy to other ReFRAME guests we would appreciate if any classes that cannot be attended are cancelled through the booking system/ReFRAME app to allow other guests the opportunity to attend.
Do any of your memberships include guest passes?
Of course!! Our full-length memberships include complimentary guest passes, so you can share the ReFRAME experience with friends or family.

Members on 'The Elevate' 12 class membership receive 1 complimentary guest pass per month, while members on 'The ReFRAME' Unlimited membership receive 2 complimentary guest passes per month.

How do I claim my guest pass?

Once they’re registered, simply contact us using the form above or email us at hello@reframewellnessclub.co.uk with:

· Your guest’s full name
· The class date and time you’d both like to attend together
